Vicplumb prides itself on safety as it's critical to the success of our company and in turn our projects. Our approach has always been "safety first".

Every project carried out ensures the health, safety and welfare of the staff, contractors and others on site.

 

QUALITY & ASSURANCE

Vicplumb places great emphasis on implementing effective quality management systems to assist clients in delivering streamlined, organized project management procedures in order to deliver positive outcomes for their customers.

Vicplumb ensure that quality assurance documentation and procedures are audited on regular basis to comply with current standards.

Key Performance Indicators will be identified and targets set to monitor and improve overall Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Performance. This policy is reviewed regularly as required by legislation and Australian Standards AS/NZS/ISO9001:2008


OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIRNOMENTAL POLICY

Vicplumb is committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the working environment for its staff, contractors and others. Vicplumb encourages all members in the workplace to consider safety and accident prevention at all times.

Vicplumb is committed to its responsibility under the relevant state acts and associated legislation. Managers and supervisors have a key responsibility with regard to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of staff, contractors and others. In fulfilling this responsibility, managers have a duty to provide and maintain so far as practicable, a working environment that is safe and without risks to health.

Vicplumb regularly reviews and monitors OHS&E performance to ensure that it is being implemented effectively.

 

 

ACCOUNTABLITY

The Directors have ultimate responsibility for the implementation and review of the Vicplumb OHS&E policy and delegation of OHS&E management responsibilities. In fulfilling the objectives of this policy, management is committed to regular consultation with all staff to ensure and identify that implementation of the policy is carried out effectively and that health, safety and environmental issues have minimal impact.

In this regard, managers are responsible and accountable for day-to-day OHS&E within their areas of responsibility, and have the authority to fulfill those responsibilities. The Health Safety and Environment unit is available to consult and advise on specific OHS&E matters and to assist with the development and implementation of OH&S system procedures and programs. The OHS&E responsibilities of management at all levels, are detailed further in our OHS&E management system.
